LIVING HOMELESS: ONE MAN'S STORY; WHAT BETHEL IS DOING TO HELP

Guests: Mark Wilson, Connor Wild, Coordinator of Homeless Ministries, Pastor Alison Williams - Bethel Homeless Ministries

Merel and another homeless man were standing in a doorway on State Street seeking shelter from the rain when Merel's friend said, "We can go to Bethel for a cup of hot coffee." That is how Merel got introduced to Bethel Lutheran Church's Homeless Ministries.

On this program, members of Bethel's Homeless Ministries team describe how their homeless program has grown from providing a memorial service for a homeless man who died on Bethel's steps six years ago to a five-day a week and still growing resource for Madison's homeless population.

Hear Merel share his personal story and his insight into the plight of the homeless.
