DENISE BROWN, SISTER OF NICOLE BROWN SIMPSON, SPEAKS OUT ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Denise Brown has been an advocate for victims of domestic violence since the murder of her sister, Nicole, in 1994 and has helped raise funds for local shelters across the country. Joining Denise on this program is Shannon Barry, Executive Director of DAIS (Domestic Abuse Intervention Services). On this program, Denise talks about her relationship with her sister, and what she has learned about the Cycle of Abuse. Shannon tells about how this Cycle plays out in Dane County.

Denise Brown will be the keynote speaker at DAIS' 5th Annual Celebrate Independence! Luncheon, Tuesday, June 19th at the Madison Concourse Hotel. Proceeds from the event will directly support DAIS programs and services for victims of domestic violence and their children in Dane County.
