Taking charge of the health care you wish to have, particularly in life-threatening situations, and having your choices honored by those who care for you is the subject of this program.
"It's all about the conversation," says Dr. Tim Bartholow, Chief Medical Officer of the Wisconsin Medical Society. As an example, Dr. Bartholow and John Maycroft go through a hypothetical conversation that might occur as people begin conversations with family members and medical providers regarding what is important to them.
