CHEFS FOR SENIORS

Guests: Barrett and Nathan Allman, founders of Chefs for Seniors; John Guequierre, Merlin Mentor

How does a good idea become a viable and growing business? You’ll find out on this program from father and son team, Barrett and Nathan Allman, founders of Chefs for Seniors.

With his father’s 30 years of experience as a professional chef and restaurant manager and Nathan finishing up his degree in finance and marketing at UW-Madison, Nathan decided to enter an idea they had – which came from an experience in their own family - into UW’s Burrill Business Plan Competition. Selected as one of the winners, Barrett and Nathan moved forward with their idea with the help of two Merlin Mentors made available to them through WARF. Mentor John Guequierre joins the Allmans to share the details of this amazing business success story.
