AGING & DISABILTY RESOURCE CENTER OPENS

Just opened late last year, the Aging and Disability Resource Center is a one-stop shop for all Dane Country residents, regardless of income or assets, to receive accurate, unbiased information relating to aging or living with a disability.

 On this program, Jennifer Fisher and Marissa Baruck describe how the agency helps seniors, people with disabilities and their families navigate through the social services system, a task that can be especially daunting in times of stress or crisis.  The ADRC helps people in areas including public benefits, housing, in-home services, financial assistance, mental health services and legal services and more.
